Bob Scott, ACM/CFO of Carrollton headed to Prosper

After 31 years with the City of Carrollton, Bob Scott, ACM/CFO will be moving on to his next adventure. Bob has been a valued member of the Finance team as well as the Executive team and he has been faithfully serving Carrollton residents since 1991.
While he has set a solid financial foundation for the City of Carrollton, he has also used his expertise to improve the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS) statewide. He currently serves on the TMRS board, so we can all rest assured that the stability of our pension system is being closely monitored by one of the best.
He has taught finance professionals across the nation with his active involvement in the Government Finance Officers Association of Texas, the American Institute of CPA’s and the Southwest School of Governmental Finance.
Bob truly loves the City of Carrollton and he has demonstrated his personal commitment to the organization and the citizens over the years.
He is ready for a new adventure and he will be moving on to a similar position with the Town of Prosper. It is a unique opportunity for him to provide strong financial leadership to a rapidly growing community while providing a new challenge.
The Town of Prosper is very fortunate to have Bob serve on their team and he will most certainly be missed in Carrollton. The foundation that Bob has built will benefit the City of Carrollton for years to come.
