City Sales Tax checks for May are robust at 9.94%, but the hypergrowth levels are slowing
Published: Wed, 05/11/22
Most of you know that I provide confidential sales tax analyses and reporting dashboards for 17 clients including DART, Brazoria County, Brownsville, Highland Village, Killeen, Leander, McKinney, Midland, Pearland, Plano, Richardson, Rockport, Stafford, Victoria, Wichita Falls and Wylie. Included in my service to my 17 clients is a very thorough analysis of the public data I have been maintaining that reaches back to 1994.
I am presently enhancing the public component for my confidential clients.
My plans include offering a new service for non-clients that includes the public data only.
I will be offering this service to new clients at no charge from May through September. As of October, this new service will be provided for a fee.
Today at 1:30 pm, I will be hosting a Zoom meeting to discuss the public version of my sales tax analysis work.
If you would like to attend this Zoom meeting, reply with a request to receive the Zoom invitation. I will send the link at 1:00 pm today and start promptly at 1:30.
I will record the Zoom meeting and will send to you if you request.
BTW, subscribers will also get valuable information on Hotel/Motel Taxes and Mixed Drink taxes. That component is under construciton.
I'm looking forward to our discussion today. I am allotting an hour but will stay online until all questions have been answered.
