Port San Antonio has the go-ahead to build a $60 million “innovation center” that its leaders hope will strengthen the business park’s drive to reinvent itself as a magnet for up-and-coming cybersecurity and tech companies.
The port’s board of directors approved the funding this week for the 130,000-square-foot facility, which will include an around-the-clock e-gaming stadium and a 2,500-seat arena.
