Invitation to attend our second orientation meeting at 1:30 pm this Wednesday

We refer to this tool as our Public Sales Tax Power BI Dashboard. Sales Taxes analyses will be the centerpiece, but we will also include Hotel/Motel Taxes as well as Mixed Drink Taxes.
You will be able to do comparisons for every City, County, Special District and MTA in Texas. Our data reaches back to the early 1990s.
Our Wednesday orientation meeting will attempt to discuss data from every entity represented in the Zoom meeting.
After the meeting, you will be sent a recording of the meeting along with a link to the PBI itself so you can kick the tires.
This service will be available at no charge through September. In October it will be available on a subscription basis only.
Our goal will be to provide this service each month on the very same day as the data is released by the Comptroller's office. That way you can be equipped to explain your numbers as well as your comparative cities on Day One.
Did you know that 75% of all local government entities likely peaked as of your April checks on a Rolling 12-Month Basis. If you have listened to my sermonettes the last few months, you know that I've been saying these double-digit percentage increases in monthly checks can't be sustained forever. The careful eye, even for those of us number lovers, cannot easily spot when growth is rising but at a slower rate. On Wednesday I will prove the old statistical principle of Reversion to the Mean. I will explain in the context of your own personal average within a channel of historical performance.
