BEAUMONT — Statement from Kenneth Williams regarding selection as City Manager of Beaumont, Texas

“Becoming City Manager of Beaumont is a dream come true and one I certainly treasure. The City of Beaumont is the right fit for my skills, experience, and education in partnering with City Staff to achieve the goals of the City.

Thanks to the Beaumont City Council for entrusting me with your city.

Becoming a part of Beaumont is a pleasure for Cynthia and me and we look forward to calling it our home. I had preliminary discussions with Mayor Mouton and City Council, and they are excited to have me on the team. Likewise, I am eager to be a part of the team in collaborating with the people of Beaumont, the City Council, and all employees in this grand city.

The sky is the limit and I look forward to us bringing pride and passion in enhancing the quality of life in Beaumont becoming the best city to live, work, and play in the country.

I ask for divine protection of our city.

I am excited and thank the City Council for their trust!"
