Former Dallas County juvenile officer wanted on official oppression charge

Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a former Dallas County juvenile probation officer wanted on a charge of official oppression.

Michael Leopold Richards Jr., 49, was employed with the Dallas County Juvenile Probation Department from May 6, 2013, until his termination. Authorities did not say when he was fired.

Officials said Richards committed the offense while employed with the department but did not elaborate on the circumstances around the incident.
