As firefighters were treating the shooting victim, they heard shots continuing, and they feared they, too, were being targeted, KSAT reports.

Police responded to the station, at the corner of Culebra Road and N. Zarzamora, and searched the area.

They found numerous shell casings and blood stains, but the shooters had left the scene. They suspect drugs may be involved in the shooting.
