VICTORIA, Texas – Victoria city manager Jesus Garza says the city is planning a new public safety building.
The building will include the city’s police and fire departments, as well as municipal court under one roof.
The current buildings housing these organizations are more than 50 years old and unable to accommodate staffing and technology needs.

“We purchased some land near Airline and Main street to be the site of this facility. We are currently in the process of designing this facility. We will take that design contract to council next month, and we envision that to be completed next summer, and hopefully construction starting in the winter of 23 or 24,” said Garza.

If everything goes as planned, the new public safety building will open mid 2025.
