Ryan Henderson named Anna Interim City Manager

Anna, Texas (Feb. 15, 2023) – Anna City Council has named Assistant City Manager Ryan Henderson as Interim City Manager following
the resignation of City Manager Jim Proce.
"I want to thank Mr. Proce for his hard work and the many remarkable achievements he accomplished during his tenure in Anna. He helped pave the path for our city to grow well in alignment with thoughtful strategic planning," said Mayor Nate Pike.
"The City Council and I named Ryan as the interim because he knows the organization, knows our goals and master plans. We trust that he will continue to move Anna forward as one of the best places to live and work in North Texas."
Ryan Henderson began his career by interning with the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, Neighborhood Development Services Department. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor's degree in Communications and Virginia Commonwealth University with a master's degree in Public Administration. Beginning in
2013, he worked for six years for the City of Fort Lauderdale in the City Manager's Office.
Ryan Henderson has served as the City of Anna's Assistant City Manager since 2019 overseeing the Departments of Information Technology, Neighborhood Services and Communications, as well as managing the city's Strategic Planning Process.

Ryan and his wife Ana have been married since 2018.
