Texas woman missing for nearly 2 days found alive in Jeep submerged underwater
A fisherman found the Jeep submerged about 40 feet away from a boat ramp. The missing woman was spotted as the Jeep was getting ready to be pulled from the water.

MARION COUNTY, Texas — A missing Texas woman was found alive inside a vehicle that was submerged underwater, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
The woman had been missing since Wednesday, April 5.
She was found two days later when a fisherman noticed a black Jeep submerged about 40 feet away from a boat ramp, deputies said.
In pictures released by authorities, the only visible part of the Jeep was part of its roof.

As the Jeep was getting ready to be pulled from the water, deputies noticed someone inside was moving. They later found out it was the missing woman.
She was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

On Friday morning 04/07/2023 the Marion County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher received a call from a fisherman. The fisherman stated he was on the south side of Lake o’ the Pines in south west Marion County, Texas. He reported observing a black jeep submerged about forty feet from the Woody’s Camp boat ramp.
Deputies arrived at the scene as well as a local wrecker service. As the jeep was being prepared for removal from the water, it was discovered a person was still in the vehicle and moving.
With the assistance of the wrecker service, fisherman, and Marion County deputies, a female was safely rescued from the submerged jeep. EMS responded to the location and transported the female to a local hospital.
During the incident, it was determined the woman was listed as a missing person from the Longview Texas Police Department.
