SEADRIFT - The Seadrift police chief was suspended Tuesday due to a complaint.

Seadrift Mayor Elmer DeForest announced the suspension without pay of Chief Leonard Bermea during the investigation of a complaint at the Seadrift City Council meeting Tuesday night.
