San Antonio Fire Department arson investigator Jesse Moncada is being awarded the prestigious Jack Sneed Award for his work in arson investigation and prosecution.

Moncada will be presented the IAAI Texas Chapter Jack Sneed Award on Thursday at San Antonio’s public safety headquarters. SAFD and the International Association of Arson Investigators will be there for the presentation.

Fire Chief Charles Hood and IAAI Immediate Past President David Brannon will present this award, said a fire department spokesperson.

This is Moncada’s second award in the last year.
