City of Comanche hires full time Public Works Director

The City of Comanche is pleased to announce that Mr. William Wellman of Comanche has accepted the position of Public Works Director. Mr. Wellman brings a wealth of supervisory experience, knowledge of city functions and a sincere desire to make Comanche a great place to live.

Beginning July 1, 2023, Mr. Wellman will take over all day-to-day responsibility for Water Distribution, Wastewater, Streets and Parks.

The Public Works Director core responsibilities include leading, directing, and coordinating all work assignments related to maintenance, repair, and improvements to the city’s infrastructure while providing outstanding customer service to businesses and residencies.

We are excited to expand our leadership staff and we welcome Mr. Wellman to our municipal team.
