Single-engine airplane lands gear-up at Taylor Municipal Airport, no injuries reported

People onboard a single-engine airplane walked away uninjured after the aircraft landed with its gear up at the Taylor Municipal Airport Sunday evening.

The City of Taylor says they received a report around 5 p.m. that a single-engine airplane landed with the gear up on the runway at the airport located on Airport Road.

Officials say the aircraft is currently disabled on the runway, and the Taylor Fire Department is on the scene.

The City is working with the Federal Aviation Administration to determine next steps.

The runway is closed until further notice.
