If you felt shaking last night, you weren't imagining it. Two small earthquakes were reported 11 miles east of Pleasanton on Tuesday night, July 18, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Pleasanton is about 36 miles south of San Antonio.

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake hit around 11:22 p.m. and occurred at about 4.2 kilometers below the surface, while another 3.2 magnitude earthquake also happened just after midnight, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. No damages have been reported.

While in Pleasanton, locals in the city and across Texas reacted on Twitter and Facebook to how they felt the earthquake, just as they did when a magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck near the Reeves and Culverson County Line in West Texas in November 2022.

"My fiancé felt it while FaceTiming me," Eloy Tijerina tweeted. "Felt the building sway and the TV was moving. We live in SouthTown SA!!! Wow - 2 earthquakes in less than a year."

B-Lo Christ wrote, "We had a mini earthquake here lol." Ethan also tweeted about it, saying "A 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck near Downtown San Antonio, TX and the depth is 2.6 miles below the surface. 6 People responded to the shaking so far and someone even felt it in Dallas, TX."

"Holy sh*t I actually experienced an earthquake in Texas," Broccoli Rob tweeted.

"Friends say it was a pretty good shaker," Allen Cherry wrote on Facebook about the earthquakes.
