Celina park to receive 74K for new trees

New trees are headed for Old Celina Park.

Celina City Council members approved a $74,025 cooperative contract with Fannin Tree Farm and Denton County for the new trees during an Aug. 21 meeting.

The details

The existing trees at Old Celina Park were badly damaged during previous winter storms, according to meeting documents. The damaged trees will also be removed as part of the agreement.
