A Llano County family says that they are being forced to stay inside their own home because of a neighborhood pig that has terrorized them repeatedly. Wendy Goldstein of Kingsland, west of Austin, said the pig barreled into her family's home and attacked her parents, and then kept coming back after the first incident, according to Austin station FOX 7

The "large" pig with black and white spots first attacked the family on Monday, September 25. Goldstein can be heard on a 911 call obtained by FOX 7 saying the pig attacked her daughter and her parents that are disabled. Goldstein told FOX 7 that the pig was about 300 pounds and was foaming at the mouth.

"My grandma's being attacked by a random pig. Now my grandpa's being attacked," the daughter can be heard saying on the 911 call.

The pig attacked the daughter and then went for the grandmother at the front door of their home. The grandmother tried to stop the pig but it barrled through the front door and got on top of the grandfather, Goldstein told FOX 7. Llano County Sheriff's Office was called and animal control was sent and they shot the pig with a pepper ball.

Goldstein told FOX 7 that the pig returned multiple times throughout the week and the owner of the pig threatened to shoot the family if they shot their pig.

"My whole family's scared, they feel like they're prisoners in their own home, they can't go anywhere," Goldstein told FOX 7.

Llano County animal control told FOX 7 in a statement that the pig is being kept in an enclosure and the pig was not being aggressive so no charges have been filed.

"The pig was not trying to attack anyone. It knocked a person down, and began acting like a dog will sometimes do on a person's leg," the statement read.
