Ryan Henderson named City Manager of Anna, Texas

Anna, Texas (Oct. 11, 2023) – Anna City Council has named Ryan Henderson as City Manager following his role as the Interim City Manager.
"We are confident in Henderson's leadership, experience and successful performance during his tenure with Anna," said Mayor Nate Pike. "He knows the organization, our goals and master plans. We trust that he will continue to move Anna forward as one of the best places to live and work in North Texas."
Henderson joined the City of Anna organization in 2019 and served as its Assistant City Manager, overseeing the Departments of Information Technology, Neighborhood Services, and Communications and managing the city's Strategic Planning Process. In January, he was named Interim City Manager.
"I am honored and humbled to continue to serve the Anna neighbors as its City Manager," said Ryan Henderson.
Ryan Henderson began his career interning with the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, Neighborhood Development Services Department. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor's degree in communications and Virginia Commonwealth University with a master's degree in public administration. Beginning in 2013, he worked for six years for the City of Fort Lauderdale in the City Manager's Office.
Ryan and his wife Ana have been married since 2018.
