VIDOR — Vidor City Council has voted to reinstate the city manager.
Council voted 5-0 Thursday night to reinstate Robbie Hood, with a probationary period that's part of the reinstatement.
He was put on leave with pay near the end of August. The city didn't reveal why.
Council had appointed Police Chief Rod Carroll as Acting Interim City Manager.
Hood will officially return once the paperwork is finalized, which should be soon, and Carroll will return to his chief's position.
