Over 650 apartments, townhomes coming online in North Austin

As Austin’s population and demand for housing continue to grow, preleasing will start this year for three new housing complexes in North Austin near The Domain and Wells Branch areas.

After breaking ground in January 2022, apartment complex Lenox Grand in the Wells Branch area is now preleasing for its 315 units at 13505 Burnet Road. Units at Lenox Grand will come with one- to three-bedroom options as well as two-bedroom townhomes with attached garages. Amenities at the complex include a fitness center, a pet park, a pickleball court and two resort-style pools.

Apartment complex The Met is set to be completed next fall with preleasing slated for October at 10100 Metropolitan Drive. The complex will feature 297 units with a mix of studios as well as one- and two-bedroom units. Amenities will include a courtyard-style pool, coworking spaces and private offices, a fitness studio, garage parking and a sky deck overlooking Q2 Stadium. Additionally, 10% of units will be income-restricted housing.

Cerca at The Domain features 48 two-bedroom townhomes for sale and had 24 units move-in ready at the end of July, property owner Jonathan Hubbard said. The remaining 24 units for Cerca at The Domain are slated to be ready by mid-September at 1900-1911 Albury Cove. The community’s homeowners association will allow residents to use their units as short-term rentals through sites such as Airbnb and Vrbo, Hubbard said.
