Travis County residents to vote on $509.5M bond package for roads, parks this November

The gist

Travis County Commissioners unanimously approved adding a bond to the November election Aug. 15. The bond package includes two propositions totaling $509.5 million for roads and park improvements.

The details

Proposition A asks voters to approve $233.06 million for road and safety projects.

The projects include: Proposition B asks voters to approve $276.44 million for parks and green-space projects.

Early voting is Oct. 23-Nov. 3, and Election Day is Nov. 7.
