Leander City Manager Rick Beverlin accepts position in Nacogdoches

Leander City Manager Rick Beverlin was hired to be Nacogdoches' next city manager.

In an email to Community Impact, Leander City Manager Rick Beverlin said he accepted the city manager position with Nacogdoches.

Leander City Manager Rick Beverlin was offered a position as the city manager for the city of Nacogdoches.
Nacogdoches City Council voted to extend an offer to Beverlin at its Aug. 18 meeting, a representative from the Nacogdoches city secretary's office confirmed.
A statement from the city of Leander says Beverlin has not yet signed a contract with the city of Nacogdoches or submitted his letter of resignation to Leander.
Beverlin became Leander's city manager in December 2019 and previously worked as the assistant city manager in Galveston.
Beverlin did not immediately respond to Community Impact's request for comment.
