League City announces new art exhibit


League City’s previous art exhibit, “Art of Paper,” opened in late May at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center. League City announced a new art exhibit in September.

League City’s latest art exhibit, “First Impressions,” opened at the Civic Center and features art by members of the League City Patrons of Parks and Art Foundation, according to a news release from the city.

The foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports public art in League City.

By James T. Norman - James joined Community Impact in June 2023 and covers public education and higher education in Pearland, Friendswood and the Bay Area. Before joining the team he worked for several newspapers in both Texas and Illinois. Since graduating from the University of North Texas in 2018, James has covered more than a dozen communities and school districts, and three counties.
