Four finalists announced for Abilene Chief of Police

Four finalists have been announced in the search for Abilene Chief of Police.
Abilene City Manager Robert Hanna says the candidates will travel to Abilene for in-person interviews and meet-and-greets with the police department December 11.
The four finalists, in alphabetical order by last name, are as follows:
- Daniel Carolla, US Manager – Meta Law Enforcement Response Team, Austin, Texas
- Albert Garcia, Chief of Police – Levelland Police Department, Levelland, Texas
- James Golden, Captain – Greensboro Police Department, Greensboro, North Carolina
- Rondell Seratte, Assistant Chief of Police - Lawton Police Department, Lawton, Oklahoma
The four finalists were chosen from a total of 30 candidates from as many as seven states. Eighteen of the candidates were from Texas.
More details will follow in regard to the December 11 candidate interviews.
Mr. Hanna and members of the police chief search committee anticipate a final selection for Abilene Chief of Police by the end of the year.
