We hope you have enjoyed and benefited in 2023 from our comprehensive coverage of news across Texas and beyond. This note is to update you on some upcoming changes to our email distribution, so that you can continue to receive our services without interruption. Please notify your IT professional of this change so that we can address any concerns promptly. This change will occur January 19-21, 2024.
Why are we changing?
Our software platform that manages our subscriber database and our email publications (aWeber) is requiring that we update our outgoing email address to a domain-based address. This is an emerging industry standard for bulk mail senders that allows us to perform some front-end authentication, thereby helping identify our emails as safe and not filtered as spam. While many of your IT shops have already 'white listed' our address, we believe that the new address is more the gold standard in the industry to ensure safe practices for the end user.
What will change?
So, we are changing our outgoing email address for the articles that we send through as bulk mail each day. This new email account will include our registered domain, so will be GRA-Articles@government-resource-associates.com.
You will be able to reply to any article email and it will go to this new account. You will also be able to continue to reach us through the existing GRA-Articles@outlook.com for any business correspondence.
Please work with your IT team to prepare for this change. We expect the transition to be seamless to the end user, but wanted to notify you of the change to be able to address any concerns in advance.
