City of Odessa says two dogs have died due to a raging fire from two trailer houses

Odessa Fire Rescue responded to a fire that was blazing on W. Dunn St. Two trailers were on fire and as a result, two dogs died.

ODESSA, Texas — City of Odessa says two dogs have died because of raging fire on W. Dunn St. in Odessa, TX.
Odessa Fire Rescue responded to the scene and found two trailer houses on fire.
The first trailer was completely destroyed, but the second trailer was damaged and primarily burned on the exterior because of it being downwind from the first trailer house.
"This unfortunate event is a stark reminder of the importance of fire safety," The City of Odessa said on their Facebook page. "Make sure your home is equipped with working smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and a well-practiced evacuation plan. Your safety and the safety of your loved ones are paramount in preventing such devastating incidents."
At this time we don't know what started the fire.
