Killeen Police Department to hold robbery seminar Wednesday
Crime partnership seminar set for Saturday at Killeen Police Department headquarters.

The Killeen Police Department plans to welcome business owners, their employees and the public to its “Safe Community Partnership — Business Robbery Prevention Event on Wedmesday.
The free seminar begins at 2 p.m.
According to a release on social media, the KPD is offering training in the methods of robbery prevention. Tips and techniques on how to respond to an armed robber and what types of information are helpful to the police department.
“We will address safety concerns such as signage and lighting placement,” the release said. “Along with video surveillance tips.”
The seminar will include a live Q and A as well as what to to do after a robbery happens. Other information to be discussed includes police response and KPD case studies.
The seminar will be held at the Police Department, 3304 Community Blvd.
