City of Arlington Proclaims March 25, 2025, as Green Oaks Founders Day
Arlington, Texas – March 25, 2025 – Green Oaks Education and Support, Inc. is proud to announce that the City of Arlington will
officially proclaim March 25, 2025 to be Green Oaks Founders Day, honoring the significant contributions of Green Oaks and its affiliated programs to our community for 25 years.
Established in 2000, Green Oaks Education and
Support, Inc. has been dedicated to providing quality, individualized Christian education to children and adults with Down syndrome and similar intellectual delays. Through its comprehensive programs—Green Oaks School, Green Oaks Adult Learning, and Green Oaks Life Prep—the institution has empowered countless individuals to reach their maximum potential academically, vocationally, socially, and spiritually.
Green Oaks Education and Support, Inc. (GOES) operates from its campus located at 500 Houston Street in Arlington. The organization is committed to preparing students for fully included lives, recognizing the inherent dignity of each person, and assisting them in discovering and living out their
God-given purpose.
In celebration of Green Oaks Founders Day, Green Oaks will be hosting an event at 2:00 p.m. on March 25 on their campus. Community members are invited to join in the festivities and learn more about the
impactful work being done at Green Oaks. Arlington Mayor Jim Ross will be issuing the proclamation that evening at the Arlington City Council meeting.
Green Oaks will officially celebrate their 25th anniversary at their annual Gator Gala on April 12 at eSports Stadium in Arlington.
