University Park’s community development director Patrick Baugh retired on July 22, ending a distinguished 45-year career in public service.
Prior to joining the city in 2015,
Baugh held leadership roles in North Texas communities including Royse City, Rowlett, and DeSoto.
During his decade of service to University Park, Baugh oversaw major zoning initiatives, infrastructure enhancement and development projects. He played a pivotal role in the development of the Centennial Master Plan and Garry Weber End Zone Complex at SMU.
Baugh looks
forward to spending time with his wife of 49 years, Candace, in retirement. Following his departure, director of public works Keegan Littrell will oversee building inspections, planning and zoning, and code enforcement.
“Pat has been a key member of our leadership team, and has overseen a number of key initiatives, zoning cases, and developments during his time in University Park,” said city manager Robbie Corder. “I am extremely
grateful for his dedicated service and leadership to this community.”
