The City of Rockport has launched "Reel Talk," a new community engagement
series under the Hooked on Rockport movement. This initiative aims to create relaxed, informal opportunities for residents to connect with city leadership, share ideas, and stay informed about local developments.
The inaugural Reel Talk event will feature Mayor Tim Jayroe on Feb. 26 at 9 a.m. at Rockport City Hall. Residents are encouraged to drop by for a complimentary cup of coffee, receive updates on ongoing city projects and
programs, and engage in direct Q & A session with the mayor.
"Reel Talk is about promoting open dialogue, transparency, and building stronger ties between city hall and our community," Jayroe said. "We're casting a wide net to lure residents in and get them hooked on the progress shaping Rockport's future."
The series will continue monthly, with each session hosted by
a different city council member or staff member at various locations and times throughout the community to maximize accessibility and participation. Whether attendees have questions, suggestions, or simply want to learn more, Reel Talk provides an easy way to get involved.
